POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:
Manages and leads the Governance Function under the direction of the Director Strategy and Change Management Office:
• Manages the Governance Function
• Communicates the output of the Governance Function and the performance of the Governance Function
• Manages the development, maintenance and operation of the Governance Framework
• Facilitates participation in all parts of the Governance Framework
• Manages monitoring of the Governance Framework
• Manages cross department efficiency
• Manages the approval process for all Governance Function Deliverable
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• 10 plus years’ experience including previous roles in Enterprise Governance management, ideally with government and the healthcare clients - ideally including project management experience.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Proven experience in leading a diverse team of 10 or more employees in a fast pace environment,
• 10 plus years’ experience managing and implementing multiple projects in support of the business operations,
• Ability to lead, collaborates, and facilitates to achieve successful outcomes across multiple lines of business with at times conflicting interests,
• Excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to balance conflicting priorities while track and monitor commitments and activities to closure,
• Proven strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage and resolve issues internal and external.
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills, analytical skills, verbal, none-verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalence.
• Certification in COBIT or ITIL
• Master's degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Computer Science, and Information Technology is a plus.
