Job Summary:
As an Enterprise Architect Lead within the eHealth Enterprise Architecture unit of MOH, you will primarily be responsible for developing, maintaining, evaluating, and governing the Enterprise Architecture models for the eHealth initiatives and programs that will realize the MOH eHealth strategy.
Responsibilities
• Supporting the Chief Architect in the development and maintenance of the eHealth enterprise architecture models to address the business/clinical and technological changes
• Supporting the eHealth Program in developing the eHealth strategic plans.
• Advising the eHealth Program on technology investments.
• Supporting the IT Governance activities and periodic compliance validation checks.
• Participating in the Architecture Board meetings for discussing the Architecture Change Requests.
• Participating in populating the EA Tool repository.
• Facilitating architectural discussions and supporting in the low-level design activities for the applications development teams.
• Reporting on the KPIs related to the objectives set for enterprise architecture.
• Developing new RFPs for the E-Health building blocks and review of the responses.
Skills and Experiences
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 plus years of professional IT experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the EA and Governance domains.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Healthcare setting.
• Good eHealth business knowledge and understanding of commercial eHealth products.
• Excellent understanding of EA concepts, frameworks, metamodel and viewpoints.
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, CDA, and IHE Profiles).
• Dynamic personality and adaptive to changes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong skills in developing and delivering presentations to the executive management.
• Solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) including architecture, modeling, data architecture, ESB, and BPMS.
• Excellent understanding of EA and SOA Governance concepts and frameworks.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Previous experience in implementing large-scale software integration projects.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and emerging technologies (such as Cloud Computing).
• Good management and leadership skills.
• TOGAF Certified.
• Certified in one of the following is a plus (SOA, PMP, COBIT).
• Fluent in English (written / verbal).
• Experience in using EA tools (such as iServer).
