Vanuit onze Media Gateway vindt de verspreiding plaats van audio- en videomateriaal via kabel, internet, digitale televisie en mobiel naar de consument. Binnen de muren van Ericsson wordt content gedigitaliseerd, opgeslagen in ons eigen datacenter en voorzien van ondertitels en/of vertalingen. Met ca. 300 vaste medewerkers, werkzaam op de afdelingen Broadcasting, Radio, Distribution Services, Technology, Access Services en Newsroom Support, zijn wij een onmisbare schakel in het Nederlandse medialandschap.
Binnen Ericsson Access Services kunnen we bijna alles verstaan en vertalen en worden alle mogelijke TV-programma's, films en videoproducties van ondertitels voorzien. We vertalen ook voice-overs, commentaarteksten en andere teksten in en uit alle talen. We werken al vele jaren voor Nederlandse publieke en commerci le omroepen, producenten en bedrijven in binnen- en buitenland. We verrichten al het vertaalwerk voor RTL Nederland, waaronder de live ondertiteling van programma’s als RTL Late Night. Ericsson Access Services is snel en flexibel en is zeven dagen per week open. Daarnaast leveren wij ondertiteling voor doven en slechthorenden, waaronder live ondertiteling met behulp van spraakherkenning. Kwaliteit, service en klantgerichtheid staan bij ons altijd voorop. Ons team bestaat uit zo’n 30 vertalers/ondertitelaars, eindredacteurs en accountmanagers in loondienst en bevindt zich op het Media Park te Hilversum.
Jobomschrijving
De werkzaamheden bestaan uit het vertalen en ondertitelen van televisieprogramma’s. De ondertitels worden vervaardigd met behulp van speciale ondertitelsoftware. Voor de functie van vertaler is een uitstekende beheersing van het Engels en het Nederlands een absoluute vereiste. De beheersing van een tweede of meerdere andere vreemde talen strekt tot aanbeveling, maar Ned-Eng is een pre. Daarnaast is een goede kennis van sport en actualiteiten zonder meer een must. Door veranderende marktomstandigheden vragen wij van de kandidaten een hoge mate van flexibiliteit. Je bent bereid om onregelmatige diensten te draaien en naast vertaalwerkzaamheden ook aanverwante werkzaamheden bij onze klanten op het Media Park te vervullen. Je woont bij voorkeur in of in de buurt van Hilversum en het is een pre als je over eigen vervoer beschikt.
Behalve vertalen bestaan de werkzaamheden uit ondertiteling voor doven & slechthorenden. Daarbij gaat het om voorbereidbaar en live ondertitelwerk. Het live ondertitelwerk wordt verricht met behulp van spraakherkenning en de speciaal daartoe door Ericsson Access Services ontwikkelde software. Ericsson verzorgt voor deze activiteiten een in-house opleiding.

Job Summary
The Ericsson Global Competence Domain (GCD) within Global Professional Services Operations (GPSO) has responsibility for delivering worldwide senior competence services (Development, Implementation, Integration and Support) on Ericsson solutions.

Responsibilities
  • In close co-operation with the Regional Customer Units develop and promote customer specific engagement topics and tactics, addressing the business needs of the utilities industry, and leading to sales of complete solutions, comprising hardware, software and services from Ericsson as well as from 3PP partners.
  • Sell and deliver consulting engagements and leverage on consulting engagements for identifying the relevant offerings for utilities industry customers.

    Job Summary
    This is an on-site Support Engineer role dedicated to one of our key accounts. As part of a larger team, the Support Engineer will be the only Ericsson representative on-sit and will be responsible for handling problems that have been reported by the customer. Ideally, we are looking for someon with experience installing, configuring, supportin and integrating large-scale broadcast and multiscreen video applications A background in IPTV, media servers and audio/video technology would be great as we ar implementing and supporting technology that moves satellite content from the initial feed through to the distribution channel. Some experience with Elemental servers would be awesome.

    • Serves as Site Acquisition Manager for multiple site projects for one client.

    • Serves as main client interface which includes providing reports and attending status meetings.

    • For new-build projects, commonly responsible for managing site acquisition activities from initial search ring release through building permit issuance.

    • For existing site modification projects, commonly responsible for managing site acquisition activities from leasing and zoning audit through building permit issuance.

    • Provides leadership and works to determine and develop growth opportunities within the Site

    • Provides training and supervision of their Site Acquisition team.

    • Supervises the administration, planning, operations, and work of consultants, subcontractors, and independent contractors

    • Communicate activities with team members and other departments, as needed.

    • Provides quality control of site sketches, as needed.

    • As needed, attends field site visits for candidate and engineering viability

    • As needed, interviews zoning/permitting personnel to obtain jurisdictional approval requirements for installation of wireless communication facilities and/or related wireless equipment as project scope define.

    • As needed, reviews zoning drawings prior to submittal for compliance with public agencies and client requirements

    • Provides Quality Control over the preparation and submittal of land use entitlement applications and presentations.

    • As needed, reviews collocation applications and submittals.

    • Maintains a high degree of customer service and integrity when dealing with clients.

    Minimum Qualifications:



    Education: Requires 4 year degree, or equivalent work experience

    Experience: Requires 7 years telecommunications industry experience; 3 years site acquisition experience. 2 years Supervisory experience.

    Preferred Competencies:

    • Knowledge of Tower and Telecommunications industry experience, required

    • Ability to work independently as well as with others

    • Excellent oral and written communications skills

    • Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills

    • Real estate, sales, or legal negotiation experience, strongly desired

    • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively

    As Small Cells Implementation Management, you will:
    • Achieve and maintain the highest possible level of customer satisfaction, lead customer toward their overall heterogeneous network strategic goals with innovative indoor Small Cell service offerings while securing Ericsson’s interests during the sales, project implementation and delivery phases.
    • The engagement with customers during the presales process across the RASO region to influence the growth in the small cells service offerings that are sold.
