Leading UK Mobile Network Operator
is looking for a Senior Mobile Circuit Switch Core Databuild engineer.
The Core Databuild Team are responsible for change / work flow for the
day to day operation of the Mobile Circuit Switch Core Network.
Already operating at Senior Engineering level you'll be able to draw on your track record of success and use your technical and /or operational experiences to produce databuilds / datafill to configure the 3 production network.
Your role will encompass the coordination and delivery of data to enable the optimization of network features, products and services in line with business requirements. You will be expected to work with functional stakeholders to deliver changes in a planned and controlled manner ensuring minimal impact to network services.

This role will focus on the CS Core Network elements consisting of NSN MSSu, L-MGW, HIS700, HLR & SDM (HSS, EIR, MNP).Reporting to the CS Data Management Principal Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring that the integrity of Three's voice networks are maintained in the most efficient and effective manner.
You will:
Work closely with the design teams and the managed service partner to deliver planned network changes.Review and provide feedback on Design documentation.Help develop and support members of the team.Plan and coordinate the Configuration Management and Deployment Management changes of systems, applications, services & products for the domain on the test and live networks (UK and ROI).Review and refine processes and procedures in order to deliver high quality, scaleable and cost effective configuration in support of business iniatives whilst ensuring network performance and customer experience.Accountable for the technical delivery of solutions for 3's Mobile Circuit Core networks through:
Preparation and application of configuration data for both new and existing elements in the network.Creation of records including Databuilds and data scripts.Review Designs, Databuilds data scripts prior to implementation to ensure that input errors are kept to a minimum Working closely with other departments to support optimisation activities and data related incidents.Act as a central point of reference for Databuild / datafill queries.Performing audits of network configuration.Review technical processes & procedures.Production and support of reporting / measurementsMust Have:
Good mobile telecoms Integration, configuration or commissioning background.Good technical knowledge of 3G telecommunication networks.Solid IT (PC, Unix and Networking) and Telecommunication skills.Experience of the Nokia-Siemens Circuit Switching Environment and products (prefebaly Network configuration experience)Shall be able to demonstrate an understanding of end to end configuration including SS7, SIP, BICC, SIGTRAN.Nice to Have:
Experience of the commercial deployment of LTE, which could include design, test and/or deployment.Experience of working with NSN/Samsung core network systems.Experience with NSN CS elements including MSSu L-MGW, HIS700, HLR & SDM (HSS, EIR, MNP).Educated to degree level preferably in a Telecommunications discipline.
