Overview
We are currently seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Designer t?help u?perform the following responsibilities:
Specification, architecture, and design of analog/mixed-signal circuitry for transceiver ICs for wireless communication, and documentation of the results of this work. Development of behavioral models of analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks for top-level functional verification of the IC. Participation in IC floor planning, and monitoring and controlling of IC layout. Lab testing and debugging of engineering samples, and documentation of the results of this work. Support for system engineering in developing system-level architecture, partitioning, and specifications. Support for characterization test development and production test development. Participation in project planning reviews, technical reviews, and schedule tracking reviews.
Requirements
Master’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent. At least five years of experience in designing analog/mixed-signal circuitry for transceiver ICs for wireless or wireline communication in a product development environment. Sound grasp of theoretical principles of analog/mixed-signal IC design. Ability to develop innovative circuit architectures and designs. Thorough familiarity with tools and techniques for simulating functionality and performance of analog/mixed-signal ICs. Thorough familiary with measurement techniques for lab testing of analog/mixed-signal ICs, and substantial experience in root-causing and resolving problems with measured functionality or performance. Strong initiative in defining tasks, proposing changes, and identifying and resolving problems. Ability to work well and communicate effectively with other team members and management.
