Role Overview
• The Testing Expert will participate in the Quality Assurance (QA) processes in the delivery of The clients products.

Job Responsibilities
• Leads testing workshops and discussions to plan test phases, test automations, test environments, test execution, and defect reporting.
• Tests and troubleshoots OSS/BSS software such Service Fulfillment, Service Assurance, Inventory Management, or Customer Experience Management systems.
• Responsible for ensuring that the customer's business outcome is delivered.
• Responsible for the traceability matrix and ensures that the acceptance test strategy and plan are aligned with the requirements.
• Responsible for the acceptance testing of specified requirements.
• Consults with and assists development engineers in troubleshooting and reproducing problems.
• Participates in the development of the client's test plans and strategies.
• Maintains a strong understanding of appropriate industry standards and contemporary test strategies.
• Adheres to Managed Services methodologies.
• Contributes to the ongoing improvement of Testing and Managed Services best practices.

Job Requirements
• 2+ years of Testing and QA experience.
• Testing experience in a Telco environment.
• Knowledge of test standards, processes, and tools.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with the operation of defect tracking systems and basic software test processes.
• Telecommunication experience and technology knowledge in various Telco domains.
• Experience with at least one, and ideally multiple, OSS/BSS products from leading vendors such as The clients, Oracle, Amdocs, Clarity, Ericsson, HP etc.
• Experience in Service Quality Management (SQM) and Customer Experience Management (CEM).
• Knowledge of BSS processes and their implementation.
• Self-motivated with ability to grasp new concepts and technical skills quickly.
• Service and business mindset.
• Good customer facing capabilities and meeting customer expectations.

Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with MS Office applications
• Basic Unix/Linux hands-on experience
• Understanding of Oracle databases and hands-on experience with SQL
• Basic understanding of networks and IP protocols
Additional Requirements
• Capable of big-picture vision
• Willing to travel on-site based on business needs; travel may be days or weeks
• Willing to work according to shift assignments, including weekend and unconventional hours and in holidays
• Winning spirit, service-oriented attitude
• Exemplary team-player
• Broad understanding of BSS technology
• Demonstrates high level of responsibility and accountability
Experience: 2 Yrs +

Education Requirements:
B. Tech. / B.S. in Electronics & Telecommunications / Computer Science / Information Technology.
