Job objective:
Engineers within this field apply principles of engineering to fundamentally solve problematic areas within the OSS communication field.
Undertake the delivery of technical solution and ordinary technical support of project.
Provide a high quality and punctuality of technical support and maintain customers’ satisfaction with the service provided.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities;
Responsibility Assessment Criteria
Project Delivery
Perform OSS network planning; Interpret product solutions and technical proposals and prepare HLD/HLD relevant to the solution and customer expectations.
Perform OSS equipment commissioning and ATP testing.
Prepare network implementation and migration plans and be involved in planned activities, like M2000/U2000/I2000/Remedy Migrations,
Carry out hardware and software expansion/faults/upgrade for the new/existing operational network.
Able to do smooth Provide the roadmap of the HUAWEI OSS product.
Able to do development and creating work flow objects
Able to do analytics and dashboard design
Project Delivery achievements
Network Maintenance:
Be on standby 24/7 for remote support as required.
Perform Second Line Maintenance support for whole Network NEs and associated elements.
Solve the problems within SLA based on the contract between Huawei and the customers.
Able to summarize and explain troubleshooting cases.
Escalate the trouble ticket to iCARE at all times, whether he/she is able to solve or not, and monitor it until solved. Close the ticket within SLA.
Daily health check performance and analysis, report immediately in case of any ambiguity.
Performance management, monitor network and provide KPI Reports using N.M.S System
Proactive maintenance; must be able to have initiative to crosscheck the running status of Network elements.
Network Health status
Training and Knowledge Sharing;
Pass all the exams and join the necessary training.
Give new/other staff necessary training and upbringing during daily job.
Good communication and relationship with customer.
Summarize sorted network issues and output case or product solutions on Huawei Knowledge base.
Knowledge on ARS database and its structures, Experience in analytics and dashboard
Case Sharing on Huawei Knowledge base.
Training records.

Degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent degree.
Work experience:
Experience in Huawei OSS project delivery, such as M2000/U2000/I2000/Remedy/Optima/Bizflow/SOME/Solawinds
Technology skills for Huawei OSS product, such as M2000/U2000/I2000/Remedy/Optima/Bizflow/SOME/Solawinds
Network troubleshooting.
Hands on experience in upgrade and patches
Hands on experience in SRM, SLM and RKM
Experience in implementing CMDB and Web services.
Hands on experience in performance tuning (ARS and DB)
Knowledge and skills:
Understand the specific procedure of maintenance, data configuration, troubleshooting skills and commissioning of telecoms systems.
Good knowledge on the Linux/Unix OS system.
Good knowledge on the SQL2000/ORACLE/DB2 database
Good knowledge on IBM Minicomputer/HP Minicomputer/Huawei ATAE hardware platform.
Familiar with 3GPP protocol, able to trace the signaling to trouble shooting the detached problem and provide the solution within provided timelines as per S.L.A.
Good knowledge on the service flow concepts and principles for HUAWEI M2000/U2000/I2000/Remedy/Optima/Bizflow/SOME/Solawinds product
Familiar with DATACOM knowledge.

Must be willing to travel for long periods of time away from base
