Core Network Customer Support Engineer - Ericsson Equipment/ Saudi Arabia

This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.



Job Description

• Manage networks and nodes within the Core CS domain

• 2G, 3G, LTE network switching operation and troubleshooting on: MSC, MSC-S, HLR, HSS, MGW, STP, MSS, IMS, IMT

• Preventive Maintenance activities

• Fault handling and corrective actions

• Equipment and service performance parameter handling.

• Participate in project activities, implementing / adapting of new E2E service functionalities.

• On regular base covering the 7x24 Call-out responsibility

• Provide input, implement and verify improvements in processes and work instructions.

• Verify and implement configuration changes

• Transfer knowledge in a structured way to NOC colleagues.



Competences & Qualifications:



• In depth knowledge of operation and troubleshooting techniques of MSC, MSC-S including APG all versions, PBX in MSC, HLR, HSS, MGW, STP, MSS, IMS, IMT

• Aware of VOLTE implementations

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to work under strong pressure related to scale of business impact

• Bachelor/Master of science in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Information Systems or equivalent with minimum of 2 to 5 years of work experience.
