Ericsson Core /ran Performance Engineer

LocationMiddle East / West Asia
- Highlighting issues on node level after the first hourly sample.
- Reacting on referred TTs to performance group within maximum 2 hours from referral time.
- Escalating any major degradation to the performance team leader and manager by SMS and phone call.
- Keeping the follow up on the received email to Ericsson performance team email account (by adding flag on the pending email or mark read on the read email and complete flag on the completed emails)
- Highlighting missing data on node level to OSS team by email and phone call to be recovered on the spot.
- Replying to FO and other teams’ email which are requesting updated performance status for site(s) or node(s).
- Sending the shift HO report at the end of the shift.
3 Main Activities

The following main activities are part of this role.

• Work in shifts to monitor the Network Performance.

• Perform trend analysis on KPI statistics.

• Escalate performance issues to Front Office and Management.

• Provide update on performance status to FO and Management.

• Develop performance reports in Excel and/or Business Objects as required.


4 Requirements

The following main competences are required for this role.

• Business objects reporter

• ENIQ database basics

• ProOptima

• Microsoft Office.

• For Core Profile:
Need theoretical and technical basics for CS and PS Core.
o MSC/MGW/HLR/BSC/RNC/etc.
o SGSN/GGSN
