One of our client looking for the below mentioned position.
Position: OSS Architect
Total experience: 8+ yrs
Qualification and Skills:
Minimum Experience:
A minimum of seven years of professional technical experience related to software development, systems design and deployment and networking/ infrastructure
A minimum of three years in a professional senior technical role such as technical lead, team lead, architect, or any other hands on leadership role
Required Skills
Strong working knowledge of Network technology - Wireless & Wireline (including but not limited to LTE/3G, SONET/SDH/DWDM, Ethernet, IP MPLS etc)
Strong understanding of mobile (3G/LTE) networks planning & operations
Good understanding of OSS systems - Network Inventory, Warehouse management, Asset Management etc
Must have good development experience in Core Java/J2EE
Must have experience with using, tuning, and deploying solutions on a commercial database such as Oracle, SQL Server etc
Must know how to develop and deploy structured configuration management processes using version control software such as TFS, Subversion, Git, etc. as well as issue tracking systems such as TFS, Bugzilla, ClearCase, etc.
Must have experience working with and developing design and requirements documents and artifacts such as Entity Relation Diagrams, UML diagrams, User Stories, Use Cases etc.
Must have excellent technical problem solving skills, including identifying and addressing performance problems, system defects, hardware issues, etc.
Must have strong working knowledge of SDLC processes and how to operate under structured project management, including the need for various environments, system maintenance, risk avoidance, etc.
Must be able to work independently and provide proactive leadership in a complex environment with multiple teams
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, including conducting presentations to teams and to customers.
Must be able to break down complex technical topics into common language understandable by non-technical/business oriented audiences
Developing a pro/con model comparing various technologies to assist teams and business clients in selecting the best fit for a technical solution
Preferred Skills
Understanding of financial/ERP system internals - SAP, Oracle etc
Understanding of cost estimation for solutions, including infrastructure, licensed software, etc.
Development experience in an Open Source database solution such as MySQL, Postgress, Mongo, Hadoop, etc.
Building ERDs, deploying structured database releases, and tuning SQL
Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF or the equivalent
Education
The individual must have at least a bachelor’s degree in a technical field closely related to information technology such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, or information systems
A master’s degree or above is preferred
