Gran Back Office Engineer

ROLE:-

GRAN Service Engineer is responsible for maintaining the normal operation of network 2G RAN services and /or resources in a way the fulfills Managed Services SLA’s and KPI’s commitments. The responsibilities cover the following:

2nd Level Assurance
Operational Readiness
Perform preventative & corrective maintenance.
Coordinate with support to have second level support or consultation
Initiate Service and Network improvements and optimization activities.
Initiate temporary Service and Network reconfiguration, if performance is not satisfactory.
Drive tool development for delivery and management of new services.
Analyse failure trends and identify chronic failures.
Operational Fulfillment
Provide optimum use of the existing Networks.
Recommend service redesign

REQUIREMENTS:-

Strong knowledge in APZ 212 33C/APG40 ,APZ 212 55/ APG43, RBS2000 /6000
Hands on experience of Ericsson BSCs/RBSs,
Strong troubleshooting skills on 2G system
Handling all BSS related trouble tickets, network availability report and customer complaint.
Software and hardware audit for BSC/RBS
2G Site Rehoming
BSC Re-parenting on MSc in pool
Software Upgrade for BSCs and RBS
Perform parameters changes on BSC and Cell Level
Preparation of Data transcript for all changes required within the network
Acceptance functionality test for Ericsson BSC
Good knowledge of IP end-to-end network architectures and
troubleshooting
