Job Type: Long Term Assignment (2 Years contract initially)
Package & Condition: SALARY IS NET (Client pay the local taxes). Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Data Product Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
REPORTS TO: Head of Consumer Business
Primary objective of the job:
Define and execute a strategic plan to achieve data business Revenue and EBITA targets
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop local competences in the areas of products management in relation to data business
• Define the data product strategy and roadmap.
• Define product life cycle management process in collaboration department heads
• Define data product and pricing road map to meet the data revenue and EBIDTA targets
• Lead data monetization initiatives
• Regular inputs to the weekly forecasting activity
• Daily tracking of performance of the data product portfolio
• Lead the product development process, including concept and business case preparation, formulate process and procedures, project planning and implementation, testing and launch. Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
• Analyze market trends impacting the data business and develop a growth strategy
• Identify seasonal and macroeconomic factors impacting data business
• Lead customer insight generation through focus groups and research to bring the customer into the center of our value proposition
• Ability to manage pricing pilots and determine best price points in relation to elasticity and consumer behavior in relation to data products and promotions
• Manage products pipeline and prioritize IT/Billing development roadmap
• Work with external partners to assess partnerships and product synergy opportunities.
• Manage BTL campaigns to meet churn and ARPU targets
• Be an expert with respect to the competition and ensure that product and pricing is correctly positioned against key competitors
• Define and implement retention roadmap
• Produce board level reports to clearly communicate where the data business is and where it is heading
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
• At least 5 years of experience in products management
• A Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business
