We are looking for VIP support to start 1st September. This has to be a
senior Service Desk resource, with exceptional interpersonal skills and
have the ability to communicate with very senior management. They should
have the ability to make decisions, be independent and be proactive and
not have to continuously contact their manager whilst supporting the
VIP.
Below you can find the main tasks for this role:
Siemens UAE will identify a limited number of critical users, maximum 100 users, termed as VIP’s, (list to
be provided, consisting of role, incumbent, location and any special support service requirements).
These users require quick turnaround time with respect to IT support.
The Provider’s responsibilities with reference to the pre-defined Customer supplied VIP User list, will
include:
1. Provider has to give preference to VIP users with respect to IT support
2. Provider shall proactive check and maintain their machines for Antivirus, patches and for all other
standard services
3. Provider shall take backup of VIP’s data with help of a secured tool in a encrypted form
4. Provider shall proactively monitor the health of the hardware and suggest for replacement
5. Provider shall quarterly do a complete health check like,
5.1. Defragmentation
5.2. Scandisk
5.3. Cleanup/ removal of temp and unwanted files
5.4. Patch management
6. Provider shall assist the VIP’s in sharing the calendar with their secretaries
7. Provider shall assist in printer configuration
8. Provider shall manage the private/ personal printers and do a periodic health check
9. Provider shall assist the VIP user in their video conference and projector setup in conference rooms
