A fast growing start up specialized in the provision of integrated web and mobile services in West and Central Africa market is recruiting a Technical Manager to be based in Ivory Coast (West Africa).
Job description:
-Manage the design and development of software/platforms required to provide services to customers: SS7 and SMPP gateways and firewall, SMSCs, IVR/E-commerce platforms, API…
-Manage day to day operation including customer support (NOC), system administration (Linux, Windows, network etc...)
-Manage the development and deployment of internal system to support the business activities (email servers, ERP etc..)
-Recruit, train, coach and develop a team of junior software and system engineers
-Prepare, track and manage budget for the technical department
Requirement:
-8 to 12 years of experience out of which 5 years (minimum) should be in software development and 3 years (minimum) in System administration
-Expertise in C/C++, Java, PHP, ASP.net, J2EE, SQL, MySQL.
-Expertise in SS7, Diameter, SMPP, HTTP protocol
-Familiar with Design, development, testing and deployment of SMSC, SMS/USSD gateways and SS7 firewalls, IVR/VOIP platform, E-commerce platforms etc..
-Expertise in software development project using scrum (agile framework)
-Expertise in Linux system with strong IP and GSM networks understanding
- Experience in team development and coaching
-Excellent command of English (French will be an added advantage)
-Willingness to relocate in Ivory Coast (Abidjan)
-Experience with a renowned SMS aggregator or VAS platform or services provider will be highly regarded.
Compensation:
This is a permanent position based in Abidjan with 6 months’ probation period.
-Salary: 2000-2500 USD Tax Free per month
-Bonus: 4000-5000$ per annum based on company and individual performance
-Accommodation in a Guest House and Local transportation
-2 return flight tickets along with 30 calendar days paid leave per annum.
-80% medical coverage
