Nexius is hiring an AutoCad Designer in the Baltimore/Washington area.
GENERAL SUMMARY
Performs basic design tasks to prepare drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Maintains advanced knowledge of wireless equipment and compound layouts
Prepares design development drawings on AutoCAD from preliminary design drawings and/or field sketches.
Produces A&E drawings with accuracy and attention to details. Performs basic design computations.
Translates sketches, verbal and written information into CADD drawings
Checks own work (using highlight marker) to ensure that all redlined corrections are fully and accurately transferred to the CADD files.
Is proficient in computer software programs, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years' experience in AutoCAD.
