Job Role
› Drive overall operational readiness for the applications area working with cross domain
organizations. Applications are Operator developed and will be introduced to the end
customers using App stores and will work in a Internet/OTT type frame work.
› Provide expertise in agile and rapid operations for new features and enhancements.
› Support building dashboards to track success, usage and performance for the
applications Operations organization
› Provide expertise in development of organizational capabilities and dimensioning
considering short and long-range objectives.
› Identify tools and competencies required for Applications operations
› Document the gaps and recommend the mitigation plan. Define the scope for the
further phases of gap closure strategy and provide implementation support.
› Desired Profile
› Working knowledge of Compute, Storage, Networking and operations support for Server
Side Infrastructure
› 3-4 years of direct working experience in large data centers managing applications and
its life cyycle. 10+ years of total experience.
› Experience in the area of application management (Process and tools for performance,
assurance, fulfilment)
› Good knowledge of IP networks, QoS, reliability, security
› Good understanding of Internet applications which execute on a Java framework, with
good understanding of iOS and Android OS framework
› Good understanding of API management system for service orchestration and
composition
