Director of Microsoft Phones UX Design

We are now looking for a Director of Microsoft Phones UX Design.

In this role you will be responsible for the UX design across the Microsoft Phones portfolio and you will have critical impact to consumer competitiveness of Microsoft’s Phones portfolio in medium and long term.

Main responsibilities:

?Create a UX point of view and and lead the design of Microsoft’s Phones UX on a global scale

?Strategic leadership for driving Microsoft’s Phones UX success in the market place measured by consumer perception and industry recognition

?Ownership of the creation and management of all consumer experience methodologies as these relate to Phones portfolio

?Drive consumer led design for Phones UX within Microsoft’s end to end design process, working across the wider Microsoft design community.

?Create, drive, oversee and evolve the UX mindset from conception to creation to handover

Key deliverables:

Design of Phone UX including Human Computer Interaction, Photography, Connectivity & Gear across a range of Phones and platforms.

From a successful candidate we expect :

?Proven knowledge and experience of working within the full UX Design process.

?Recognised industry leader within User Experience and Design sectors

?Experience of working in both large corporate and creative agency sector roles at a senior level

?Degree educated (Design or related subject) and relevant commercial experience as an individual contributor in User Experience Design.

?Strong creative background within Design and User Experience

?Proven experience leading and managing direct reports and influencing global design teams

?Experience of creating, owning and evolving a global User Experience methodology and evidence of measured success.

?A knowledge of online marketing, location based services and cutting edge Social Networking is essential
