Microsoft has always believed in the transformative power of technology. From the initial vision of placing a personal computer on every desktop and in every home, to putting mobile devices into a billion hands, we have connected and empowered generations. We want to make the lives of billions of people better in fundamental ways - that's what we do today, and that's what we'll do tomorrow.

Who we are

MixRadio is a truly global music service, operating in over 30 countries. We aim to deliver a personalised radio experience to mobile and web, learning each user’s taste and helping them enjoy and discover music. Our mobile-first web application (www.mixrad.io) streams music to the browser (IE8 , Chrome, Firefox, Safari etc.) from a catalogue of more than 30 million tracks that includes artists from all major labels and many local independents.

Our Bristol office accommodates a largely technical staff of over 200 employees, where roles include developers who build the JVM-based services that power the underlying platform, mobile client developers, system administrators, designers, musicologists, content editors and product specialists.

As part of Microsoft, you would bring passion, dedication and commitment to deliver to consumers the very best of what our technology can offer in mobility. Together with you we aim to deliver new levels of innovation in a family of devices and services that delight consumers with great end-to-end experiences at home, work and everywhere in between.
