Responsibilities:
• Monitor development of frequency management plans and ensures conformance with specifications and parameters laid down in the appropriate regulations and standards and assist in resolution of any deviations.
• Studies the technical specifications of the client’s systems to determine compatibility with International Telecommunications Union (ITU) filings and standards. Reports to senior in case of any differences observed.
• Studies client’s radio link budgets to ensure with specifications and parameters laid down in the appropriate regulations and standards and assist in resolution of any deviations.
• Prepares reports and summaries regarding spectrum utilisation and interference calculations for future reference.
• Attends frequency co-ordination meetings and multilateral meetings in order to discuss relevant subjects.
Requirements:
• Graduate of Engineering degree (Electronics & Communications, Telecom).
• Understanding of radio communications, radio access and modulation techniques and radio frequency management.
• Knowledge of areas such as GSM technology
· Demonstrable experience with ITU Radio regulations and procedures.
· Minimum 3 years relevant experience in a spectrum management role.
