Primary objective of the job:
• Define and manage the “Company” Cloud Telephony Portfolio on a pan Caribbean and Central American basis. Through a solid understanding of the key product areas, and working closely with the Product managers and Sales champions in each territory, maintain the product roadmap to ensure “Company” leadership across all markets.
• Drive business case development and company INVESTMENTS
in order to further develop our MARKET
leading portfolio of products and services in an effective and cost effective fashion.
• Manage internal “Company” development teams and external partners to implement and maintain a MARKET
beating product roadmap and portfolio of competitive products.
• Drive the market adoption of the Cloud Telephony product family across 10 of our key markets, including the development of incremental features and services
• Work closely with the platform supplier to optimize the development roadmap and maximize their input into the sales performance of the organization and continually look to develop sales support models with them to enhance our market opportunities
• Maximize product sales in each market through detailed program engagement with particular emphasis on channel enablement and process development.
• Working with the Training team, enable the market sales teams and maximize our sales opportunities in all key markets
• Working with our extensive direct sales teams and In-direct channel partners, maximize sales opportunities throughout the region in an effective way, maximizing return on INVESTMENT
for the organization.
• End-to-end ownership and management of the product portfolio Profit and Loss account.
Role requirements
This role requires effective leadership of the Group development function and the pan Caribbean Product and MARKETING
teams in 26 territories, working in a highly effective matrix driven organization. You will report at a senior level in the organization, be comfortable conversing at C-Level within “Company”, and in presenting and negotiating to/with customers and suppliers in a senior capacity.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Product & Vendor Management
• End-to-end product management to drive sales adoption to budget targets
• Organizational transformation to enable our 26 Caribbean and Central American markets to successfully sell our Cloud Telephony portfolio
• Leading cross functional team to deliver on sales & marketing execution program
• Map product availability to market readiness ( regulatory and infrastructure)
• Product launch, post-launch review, in-life changes in co-operation with other business units
• Vendor management and new vendor onboarding to the “Company” ICT platform
• Become the product expert and support sales channels through key customer engagements and industry events throughout the Caribbean and Central America
• Ongoing reporting and delivery against FINANCIAL
KPIs
Relationship Management
• Lead cross-departmental project teams to support product management activities
• Lead cross-regional project teams to realize synergies in product development and in-life product management
• Frequent presentation at C level within “Company”, vendor and customer organization’s
Academic qualifications and experience required for job:
• First Degree in Business or Science
• 5 years or more Senior Product Management experience in a Mobile, Security, IT or Telecommunications environment
• Strategic vision and good knowledge of the ICT products arena
• Formal and on the job training in product management
• Experience with product development stages and processes
• Enough technical understanding to efficiently interface with key suppliers
• Experience with matrix management in a complex multi-cultural environment
