Introduction:
- Member of a team of subject matter experts, tasked to gather business requirements with regards to a BI solution
- Reporting to the lead Solution Architect
- In that team, the Business Analyst has the following responsibilities;
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for working closely with the business teams to translate the customer needs into detailed technical offering, solutions and proposals. Participate in consultancy study to make sure the design, scope, cost and time are correct on behalf of delivery organization.
• Responsible for customer communication both from technical and business perspectives. Help the customer to build their technical strategy on Business Intelligence (BI) Infrastructure transformation.
• Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical BI solutions for the customers based on their specifications and business needs.
• In project delivery,
• Responsible for communication with external customer in order to fully understand the requirements and manage customer expectation.
• Analyze and scope customer requirements and provide baseline of requirements.
• Responsible for solution design of BI related system based on the requirement baseline.
• Responsible for the requirement management and change control during implementation
• Responsible for the preparation of Business Requirements, High Level Design Documents
Requirements:
• University degree in computer science, information technology or related areas.
• Have a proven track record as a Business Analyst (preferably in Telecommunications Business Intelligence domain)
• At least 4 years of experience in interaction with business teams in telecommunications sector.
• Knowledge in telecommunications business processes, frameworks and methodology.
• Deep understanding of software life cycle management (S-LCM).
• Demonstrated proven track record with the will and ability to adopt and learn new technologies and business models.
• Good knowledge and understanding of ETL, Data Warehousing, Reporting, Analytical Applications is preferred.
• Fluent English in written and spoken is a must.
