Responsible for optimization and KPI improvement of assigned RNCs.
Fine tuning of the network using Statistics, DT Post Processing, RNO Tools and other OSS applications.
Monitoring of UMTS Radio Network Statistics on daily basis. Achieve & maintain the Radio Network Performance as per the contracted KPIs (Accessibility, Retainability, and Mobility & Service Integrity).
Responsible for reducing congestion and drops, improving the IRAT Handover, Soft Handover, CSSR, RRC Connection & RAB Establishment Success rate in the designated area for Voice, Video & Data services.
Introducing new Radio Features and tuning the associated parameters for optimum results.
Issuing new site and capacity requests whenever needed.
Supporting integration team in initial tuning of the new sites by PSC, neighbor, parameter, feature and swap feeder checks.
Optimizing the antenna orientation and tilt for RSCP and EcNo enhancement.
Using Ericsson WCDMA Measurement Results Recording (WMRR) to figure out the overshooting cells and DL CPICH Ec/No and RSCP measurements to isolate interference and coverage issues in the cells.
Analyzing WCDMA Neighboring Cell Support (WNCS) to define missing neighbor relations and figure out overshooting cells during UTRAN neighbor audits with the help of propagation Delay measurements.
Using Business Objects for generating variety of real time reports as a part of routine Optimization to monitor and analyze network statistics.
Using Ericsson GPEH events and UEH Exception traces for route cause analysis of network problems.
Pilot Pollution exercise on cluster level to reduce the interference and improve radio quality.
