Job Mandate (To be used for SELECTION INTERVIEWS)
Media Service Manager will be responsible for the delivery of QoE and QoS as per the commercial objectives for the Multi Media service family. He will be the senior service expert with business mindset and having significant service assurance experience across technology domains. The position will be responsible for monitoring the service performance parameters and Customer experience parameters and recommending suggested actions to the Business, NPE, NOC and P&O for delivering service as per the product descriptions
Key Responsibilities
"• Responsible for the delivery of service quality and customer experience from Network in line with RJIL’s commercial objectives fro Media Services
• Ensure proactive service performance monitoring and suggestions for corrective actions for Media Services
• Ensure proactive Customer Experience monitoring and suggestions for corrective/ preventive actions for Media Services
• Analysis of deviations in service quality/ customer experience dials and generate work instructions to respective teams with respect to Media Services
• Interface with business on service performance expectations and develop as well as continuously improve the service model in association with NPE
• Interface with Service provider on Service performance expectations and escalate issues located in their applications/ platforms
• Support NOC teams in Problem Management for Media Service related issues
• Operational readiness of the operations organization for the launch of new products under the service family

Years of Experience (minimum & maximum) 15+ years of experience in multimedsia service assurance accessed through Mobile (3G/4G) or Wireline (FTTH etc) networks with at least 3-4 years experience in IPTV

1. Experience in Service assurance in renowned operator’s network providing multi – media services - Mandatory
2. Customer Experience analysis and Management in Media Companies - Mandatory
3. Should have handled Customer behaviour and usage analysis - Mandatory
4. Should have handled proactive resolution of Media rendering issues in an Operator's Network - Mandatory
5. Handled Services through all IP network like LTE - Preferred
Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory)
1. Should have strong working experience in at-least one and knowledge of all the following domains - RAN(LTE,3G), Core, IP Data/Transport Networks/any other Fixed line Technology
2. Strong understanding of the E2E service architecture, as well as delivery and Business expectations from Networks for multi-Media services
3. Knowledge of various protocols and standards used in IP TV and impact of any parameter on Customer Experience
4. Knowledge of IPTV Customer experience and expectation Analysis
5. People and Team Management Skills - Mandatory
6. Experience of using CEM tool - Preferred
7. Exposure to ETOM - Preferred
