Our client is urgently seeking experienced OSS Administration Engineers and Senior Engineers to join a project in South Africa on a contract basis.



Contracts will last between 1 and 3 years.



Duties:



OSS Administration Engineer:

OSS Administration provides management of the OSS user accounts, maintenance and upgrading of the OSS SW/ HW and associated networks.

•Organizes OSS Maintenance & Upgrades

•Creates and Maintains Network Management Systems (NMS) Users

•Analyses performance of OSS/DCN

•Resolves OSS Platform and DCN problems

•Maintains OSS/DCN servers, workstations and firewalls

•Maintains & Upgrades OSS

•Backs up OSS SW for system recovery

•Supports development of the OSS architecture





OSS Administration Senior Engineer:



•Provides OJT to OSS team

•Organizes OSS Maintenance & Upgrades

•Creates and Maintains Network Management Systems (NMS) Users

•Analyses performance of OSS/ DCN

•Resolves OSS Platform and DCN problems

•Maintains OSS/ DCN servers, workstations and firewalls

•Maintains & Upgrades OSS

•Backs up OSS SW for system recovery

•Supports development of the OSS architecture
